Hello Sportsfans and welcome to “Jerry’s Sports of Kentucky“.  We recently relocated to
Kentucky from the West Coast where most of our Internet Sites started.  The
purpose of this site is to introduce you to several of our current sites that
you may or may not be familiar with as well as to emphasize our new Kentucky
operations. We enjoyed the West Coast very much but we are looking forward to
our “New Kentucky” location even
more.

Several people have asked us why in the world
we chose to relocate to Kentucky?  My answer is that Kentucky reminds me so much
of my original Southern Heritage and offers so much more for so much less.  Our
property is many times larger, trees are abundant, and the people are
outstanding.  Besides that you will have a very hard time trying to find any
Basketball better than the Kentucky Wildcats and the Louisville Cardinals, or
any Horses better than Kentucky bred Horses!  Kentucky Bourbon is also hard to
beat!

I am the owner of this (these)  site(s) and
would like to give you a little background.  I was born in the South on a very
hot day in the early 40′s and according to my Mom I arrived completely naked
except for the New York Yankees cap that I was wearing.  I lived for sports
since my early childhood.  During my developing years I learned and played
Baseball, Football, and Basketball.  Television did not arrive in my childhood
home until the early 50′s thus most of sports information was gleaned from
listening to the radio.  Baseball games were broadcast on a regular basis and
really helped my imagination to develop.  Players were described with “arms as
big as tree trunks” and I just couldn’t imagine how they could even get through
a doorway much less hit a baseball!  When television came I had a much clearer
picture.  I actually saw the players and even got to hear “Dizzy Dean” do the
broadcasting.  My Dad took me to my very first baseball game at Yankee Stadium
and that cemented my love for the NY Yankees even more.

After High School and attending trade schools
and college I began my working career.  Somehow or another my work always
involved travel.  My career started in the Airlines Industry, progressed to
Sales, Marketing and Management, and finally concluded owning a wonderful sports
business since the early 1990′s.

My career allowed me to visit several Big
League stadiums and Arenas.  I was also fortunate enough to associate with many
players as well as officials.  These insights broadened my sports knowledge even
more and over the years added to the success of the
business.

We entered the Internet operations in the
year of 2000 and since then have in operation 25 websites.  Now that I have
officially retired I devote my time mostly to the operations and maintenance of
these sites.  I consider it a labor of love because most of these sites are
either sports or travel related - mostly sports!  Please take a look at our
sites, click on the various links and if you choose, please purchase some of our
items.  Again, it’s great to be on the farm in Kentucky and still be able to
contact our friends and customers (both old and new) through the magical world
of the internet.
